Last but not least this summer...our annual beach vacation!
It was bittersweet to make the final check on our Summer Lists, but hitting the sugar white sands and blue waters was last on our lists. We are feeling very accomplished right now and relishing in the memories of another great vaca.
I suppose I could give a you a day by day play of our week on the coast. However, I imagine it might get a bit redundant. Groundhog's Day anyone? Basically every day went a little something like this...
Wake up, hit the beach, play, play, and play some more, head back to the house for lunch, take an afternoon swim at the pool, grab amazing fresh seafood take out and eat on our porch, and then head to the town square for all the festivities.
No complaints here.
Not much can make a week at the beach more spectacular than it already is, but I have to say all the company and friends made it all the better. Some were surprises {what? we are going to the beach the same week! how funny} and others were completely strategized.
The most fabulous part was all three kids had a friends there at some point...score! Not to mention Clay and I were loving hanging with our grown up buddies too. We even did a big person dinner one night....woo hoo!
So much fun...it's going to be a hard one to beat. Here it is day #1-day #7...they all started running together for me. But, they were all fabulous...
I can't deny that Lucy boogie boarding and the beach dude selling ice cream were definitely highlights of the trip. I mean, how could they not be?
And on a more serious note, I'll be back to share some precious professional beach pics of my sweet family. I can't tell you how amazing it was to have the pressure off of me this year. All I had to do was sit back and smile...
