Per Thanksgiving tradition, we spent the holiday in Florida with all the family. It never gets old seeing all the cousins together, hugging my darling Grandma, and playing in the Florida sand and sun. Some of our best memories come from that much anticipated break from school and visit to the sunshine state.
As our family of 5 has grown, grandparents have downsized and cousins have moved away, we have started renting a beach house for this get away. There is nothing better than waking up to the salt air and hearing kiddos excited to see extended family sleeping right next to them.
This year was no exception to all of the things I have grown to love about going home for our turkey break. We stayed in an exceptionally colorful beach house. We enjoyed a lot of quality cousin time, although it is still never enough. Aunt Scrub spoiled us with her delicious Thanskgiving feast. And so much more.
So much to be thankful for. Now we are ready for the hustle and sweetness that only the Christmas season can bring.
