100 Days

Happy 100 Days of School!

This little Granny of mine celebrated her 100th day as an Elementary School Girl.  My, my, my time sure does fly.  And have I ever mentioned that Kindergarten is the best?  I need this year to slow down. It's my last one {gasp}!

My little Kindergarten Granny is....

100 days smarter

100 days taller

100 days cuter

and 100 days funnier {yes, it is possible}

Lucy has spent....

100 days reading

100 days writing

100 days counting

100 days eating lunch at school

100 days riding the bus home

and 100 days playing with new besties

In 100 days this cutie has learned to...

read books

write a sentence

draw pictures with details

wake herself up with an alarm clock in the morning

use a computer mouse and log herself in

and become the BEST KINDERGARTNER EVER!

Wow!  That's a pretty incredible 100 days!  xoxo my 6 year old Granny

Cruising' Into 2019

Happy New Year and Welcome 2019!

Our family of five literally cruised into 2019 on the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship.  And I owe the thanks for this fantastic voyage to my lovely mother-in-law.  Thank you for a Christmas present full of memories!

And although the beaches and sight seeing were a real treat, the best part was being together with the Cibula side of the family.  Cousins, Grammy, Aunts, & Uncles...you can't beat that!

We boarded the ship on New Years Eve straight from our little jaunt at Lego Land.  We definitely sent 2018 out with a bang and welcomed 2019 in with an even bigger bang!

After boarding, getting settled in our 4x4 room and sitting through the ship's safety debriefing we set out to explore the ship and celebrate New Years Eve.

Shhhh...don't tell the girls, but I tucked them in well before midnight.  But, there was no getting it past this guy.  He begged and pleaded that we participate in the CrAzY ship count down and balloon drop.  His first of many NYE celebrations.

The rest of the cruise was spent island hopping and enjoying the sunshine.  I'm telling you there is nothing like a dose of vitamin c in the dreary winter months.

Our first stop was Cay.  We packed a bag for the day and took a ferry boat over to the private island.

We immediately jumped on this little motorized dingy for our first excursion...swimming with stingrays.  But, not before we stopped for some tropical pineapple thirst quenchers....OBV!

The stingray adventure was the BEST.  Probably a fave experience of our entire vacation.

The rest of the day we lounged on the beach, played in the sand & water and did a little island shopping...

Every evening was the same {and a blast with the family}...dinner, a show, and a trip to the karaoke bar.  These brothers even took a shot with the microphone.  I couldn't have been prouder {totally kidding}.

The next day we disembarked the boat for a day at Atlantis.

I swear the kids asked for most of these pictures, the grounds were pretty mesmerizing.

But, the pools and water slides were even better!

And of course we couldn't leave the island without an authentic hair braiding.

The last day onboard was spent at sea.  We sat poolside, hung out with the family, and did a tiny bit of cruise boat shopping.

I'd like to say we came back well rested and tanned, but none of the above applied.  However, we did make some fantastic family memories and had a fabulous time.

Thanks Grammy!

Now back to the books and early mornings. And did I mention cold weather?  ugh.
