Family & Florida

Somewhere between the quarantine, virtual learning, and lots of weekend trips to the lake, school ended.  I kind of lost track of the month full of never ending Groundhog Days.

We've always celebrated the end of a school year and all of the accomplishments surrounding it, however, this year I dropped the ball.  The end of the year kind of came and went in a blur and I regret not being more present for it.  But, I am working on forgiving myself and welcoming the summer.

The first order of business was seeing Florida family.  Grandma has been down south keeping GG company during the entire quarantine.  The kids missed her and she definitely missed them.  So as soon as we shut off the computers we made plans to reunite.

The kiddos stayed a whole week with Grandma, GG, and Aunt Scrub.  It gave me a much needed break from virtual school.  I then caught up with them for a weekend visit.

It was great to have a change of scenery, actually eat out, see my family and enjoy some Florida sunshine.

I left feeling a little refreshed and ready for summer!  It's really here and I am so happy!
